This screen also works very much like the Entry Screen and you should look at the topic Creating an Entry for instructions. Again, remember to press Enter in the horses name field or click the Add button to add the horse to the database.

When you click the New button an Add button appears in the upper right of the screen. Either click the Add button after entering your new horse or press Enter in the horse's name field and think of the Add button as a reminder to do that... clicking the Add button is equivalent to pressing Enter in the horse's name field, both cause the data to be posted to the database.

You can very quickly find a Horse by typing the first few letters of their last name into the Search Box.
