Getting the Basic Information

The first step in creating a show is simply recording the basic show information.

Now you will begin to see some of the information come into play that you defined in your organization.

If you are not doing a USA Equestrian show, select the Location from the Locations drop down list box...

Farms Drop Down

If you are doing a USA Equestrian show, type the Location of the show into the Locations edit box...

Location Ed

Enter the name of the show...

Show Name Edit

Note: The type of the show seems to be a good choice for the name of the show. In any case don't include the location of the show in the name of the show as that will create a redundancy in your report titles.

Set the default number of stalls, normally one or zero. Enter the stall fee, tack stall fee, and the default entry fee...

Fees Edits

Note: The Tack Stall Fee is available in the event that you will be charging more for tack stalls.

Note: This is just the default entry fee. You'll have an opportunity later to set the fee on an individual class basis.

Set the start and end dates for the show...

Calendar

Just click on the date and the calendar will drop down. Then click on the desired day to set the date.

Selecting Show from the Data menu displays the following dialog with which you can provide additional information about the show....

Show Dialog

The contact info here is used on certain reports. The USEF number is the number of the show and is required if you export USEF electronic results. The Zone is the USEF zone and is also required if you export USEF electronic results.

The buttons across the bottom are used to create your shows home page on Horseshowing.com.
